GUAYNABO, Puerto Rico — April 2026 — CH4 Green Energy LLC and CH4 Systems LLC (collectively “CH4”), together with Banco San Juan Internacional, Inc. (BSJI), today announced a strategic joint venture to deliver engineering, procurement, and construction (EPC) services combined with project financing solutions aimed at expanding and modernizing power generation infrastructure across the Caribbean.
Due to the cost and complexity of utility-scale projects, currency concerns and other factors, project financing has been a significant impediment to the development of modern, sustainable energy infrastructure in the region. The partnership integrates CH4’s proven expertise in developing large-scale energy projects with BSJI’s financial structuring capabilities to unlock investment and economic growth.
CH4 has a strong track record delivering utility-scale power generation projects across the Caribbean and Latin America, including Combined Cycle Gas Turbine (CCGT) power generation solutions, widely recognized for their efficiency, reduced emissions, and reliability. CH4’s Guyana Gas-to-Energy project, for example, received the U.S. Export-Import Bank’s 2025 “Deal of the Year” award for its innovation and sustainability.
As a regulated international banking institution, BSJI provides the specialized financial structuring required to navigate complex capital markets and secure funding through U.S. government agencies as well as private financial institutions.
